F 3 - Kungliga Östgöta Flygflottilj, Malmslätt

The Coat of Arms of the County of Östergötland – ”On a red shield, a golden griffin with wing and tail as of a dragon and a blue dragon tongue and armed in blue. A silver rose in each corner of the shield”.

Some years during the 1940s, F 3 had a detachment of some S 14 Fieseler Storch aircraft  at Kiruna in the north. They had this Laplander painted on the left side of the fuselage.
