Also SW 16 was a design of the German Forssman, engaged by Södertelge Verkstäder develop its own designs. Like the SW 15, SW 16 can also be regarded as a failure. 

Only a prototype was built. During the flight trials, the aircraft caught fire and was destroyed. The Army cancelled the contract of the remaining ordered aircraft. 

Length: 8,76 m. Span: 13,40 m.  Maximum take-off weight: 1.350 kg. Max.125  speed: km/h.
