This Reconnaissance S 35E Draken was delivered by SAAB in Linköping to the Swedish Air Force in 1965. It got the Air Force number 35908. It was mostly based at Air Force wing F 11 at Nyköping, the only Wing that was specialiced in photo reconnaissance. Later it was transferred to the Trial Establishment (Försökscentralen, Fc) at Malmen and to F 21 at Kallax near Luleå.

On page 2, there is a photo of the same aircraft at Nyköping in 1968.

In 1976, the aircraft got damaged in a bird collision. The pilot, Captain Jan Andersson of F 21, survived with a light injury. The Draken was officially written off in 1978.

The photos on this page is taken in April 2005 at Air Force Wing F 17 at Kallinge. The Swedish Aviation Historical Society visited this airbase in the south of Sweden. S 35E 35908 was now moved to this place and used for rescue training.

A lot interesting details can be seen on this wrecked old aircraft.
