All Swedish Air Force Wings have a site used
for fire and rescue training. This fore
body of an AJ 37 is used for training
the moment to get a strapped and perhaps unconscious pilot out of the
cockpit as soon as possible. The aircraft had probably the
Air Force number 37087. |

The AJ 37 on this
photo and the photo at top is standing at the fire and rescue training
station at Air Force Wing F 17 at Kallinge, Ronneby. It is from
the beginning marked with a "7" at the nose, showing that this aircraft
belonged to Air Force Wing F 7 at Såtenäs. The figure "1" before
the "7" is just a joke. If this aeroplane really would be marked "17", the
"1" would be of larger size. |

This AJ 37 Viggen is standing at the
Military Academy Halmstad MHS H (former F 14). It is used
for training of reparations in the field. When
active it carried the Air Force number 37047 and belonged to Air
Force Wing F 7 at Såtenäs. The aircraft was delivered to the Air
Force in 1974 and taken out of flying service in 1997 after
almost 3 000 hours of flying time. |
